Laverne Emily Thomason Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laverne Emily Thomason of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Emily and Birdie J. Emily; her husband Fred Thomason, Jr.; and her son-in-law Mike Coffman. She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Barnett (Ray) of Lewisburg, TN and Sharon Coffman of Henderson, KY; her grandson Scott Barnett of Nashville, TN; her stepgrandsons, Christopher S. Coffman (Beverly) of Cairo, KY and Michael T. Coffman of Henderson, KY; her sister Ruth Wallen of Henderson, KY; and her siblings-in-law, Nettie Gordon of Henderson, KY and Toby Thomason of Henderson, KY. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
