He was predeceased by: his parents, Laz Sheets and Cora Belle Sheets (Springer); his former wife Barbara Sheets; his sister Jane Putman; and his brother-in-law Tommy Putman.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Sheets; his children, Mark Sheets (Leslie) and Kelly Roark (Kevin); his stepchildren, Summer Sisney (Ryan) and Tara Smith (Shane); his grandchildren, Drew Bivins, Bella Davenport (Connor), Parker Sisney, Lillie Sheets, Delaney Smith, Jack Sheets, Hallie Sisney, Scarlett Smith and Mia Kate Sisney; and his niece Janet Burke (Jim). He is also survived by many other extended family, members and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Church (2601 US 60 E, Henderson, KY 42420). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
