It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ann Thrasher of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hamilton and Kathyrn Hamilton; her husband Cecil; and her siblings, Sarah Jennings, Frank Hamilton, Buddy Hamilton and Jane Burke.
She is survived by: her children, John Cecil Thrasher (Laura Brackett) of Mansfield, Ohio, Anne Thrasher Boyd (Brad) of Henderson and Margaret Jane Langfeldt (Matt) of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Caroline Satterfield (Shane) of Henderson, Abigail Boyd of Henderson, Eli Thrasher of Mansfield, Claire Thrasher of Louisville, William of Indianapolis, Indiana, Eliza of Indianapolis, Indiana, James of Indianapolis, Indiana and Luke Langfeldt of Indianapolis, Indiana; her great grandchildren, Jack Joyner, Cecilia, Eleanor, Harry, Simon Satterfield and Violet Thrasher; and her sister Nancy Wrinkles. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home (604 Center St, Henderson, KY 42420). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jesus Catholic Church (511 2nd St, Henderson, KY 42420).
Memorial contributions can be made to the Father Bradley Shelter, Holy Name School Endowment Fund, or St. Anthony's Hospice.
