She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Land and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Land (Fields); her husband Hubert Stanford Whitsitt; and her brother Maurice Land. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Heck (Charles) of Owensboro and Gail Ross (Steve) of Newport Beach, California; her grandchildren, Dr. Nathan Stocke (Dana), Collin Stocke, Dr. Kendall Stocke (Sanaya), Grayson Ross (Ally), Braden Ross and Taylor Ross; her stepgrandchildren, Dr. Kristin Heck, Adam Heck and Elisabeth Harrington; her great grandchildren, Brandon Stocke, Drew Stocke, Haley Ross and Connor Stocke; and her mothers-in-law, Jenny Lamont, Frances Whetstone, Delores Whitsitt and Jerri Whitsitt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
