We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2023, at the age of 89, Maxine Jean Wilkerson of Henderson, Kentucky, born in Newburgh, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband William Calton Wilkerson; her children, Murlin McCormick, Danny McCormick and Annette Lambdin; and her son-in-law Louis Stokes Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Betty Stokes, Thomas McCormick and Posey McCormick; and her grandchildren, Kristie Piller, Louis Stokes Jr., Lynette May, Melinda Clement, Jason McCormick, Nathen Mccormick, Jared McCormick and Jody Sutton. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
