She was predeceased by: her parents, Earnest Hurst and Robbie Hurst; her siblings, Edward, Preston, Quentin, Carolyn, Marie and Jean; and her grandson Tommy Todd.
She is survived by: her husband Virgil Mitchell; her daughters, Phyllis Mitchell (Jim Pendergraft) of Henderson, KY and Rebecca Mitchell of Henderson, KY; and her siblings, Nell Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN and Willard Hurst of Bethel Springs, TN. She is also survived by grandchildren.
