With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Regenia Mae Thompson Calhoun of Henderson, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 30, 2026 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Thompson and Clara Simmons Thompson; her spouse Vechell R. Calhoun; and her sons, Joseph Richard Calhoun, Bennie Calhoun and Ronnie Calhoun.
She is survived by: her son Billy; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Calhoun of Henderson; and her daughters, Mary (Tony Hite) and Betty (John Kellough). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family has requested that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Bell Cemetery Fund which can be made at the funeral home.
