It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert E. Tomblin of Henderson, Kentucky, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald "Tom" Tomblin and Carolyn Tomblin; and his sister Joan Kellen. He is survived by: his wife Sara Tomblin of Henderson, KY; his daughter Jessica Tomblin of Marietta, GA; his sister Vivian Tomblin of Henderson, KY; his sibling's children, Stephanie Martin (Jason) of Marion, KY and Wesley Pritchett of Henderson, KY; his great-niece Caroline Martin of Marion, KY; his great-nephew Grayson Pritchett of Marion, KY; and his pet Buddy.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home (629 S Green St, Henderson, KY 42420). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Baskett Cemetery or New Hope Animal Rescue Center in Henderson, Kentucky.
