He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Henshaw and Maebelle Henshaw; and his brothers, Donnie Ray Henshaw, Larry Gene Henshaw, Earl Revees Henshaw and Ricky Richard Henshaw.

He is survived by: his wife Dianna Russelburg Henshaw; his children, James Henshaw (Sharon) of Marion, Penny Buchanan (Steven Vass) of Henderson and Cheryl Trice (David Jenkins) of Waverly, Kentucky; his sisters, Ruby Eikermann (Terry) of Robards and Brenda Wethington of Reed, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Megan Wolf (Robert) of Henderson, Cassi Trice of Henderson, Makenzie Buchanan of Henderson and Spencer Buchanan (Tabi) of Evansville, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Wolf, Caleb Wolf and Carter Buchanan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
