He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Vincent Franklin; and his brothers, J. D. Franklin, Mangum Franklin and Maurice Franklin. He is survived by: his children, Darin Glenn Franklin of Henderson, KY and Kimberly Ann Franklin Hankins (Gregory) of Henderson; his siblings, Malcolm Franklin (Austin Franklin) of Madisonville and Lomelda Lynn (Norman) of Dawson Springs, KY; his granddaughter Sabrina Hankins; and his great grandchild Taylor Roy Hankins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
