He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John and Lelia Powell Roeder; his wife Evelyn Roeder; his daughter Shirley Petsch; and his brother Edwin Roeder.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Fields (David) of Auburn, KY and Dennis Roeder (Tara) of Herndon, KY; his son-in-law Ron Petsch of Edinburg, TX; his grandchildren, Jeri Fields, Mary Fields Hudson (Keith), Jessica Fields Holcombe (Seth), J. David Fields (Sarah), Ronda Petsch Flocke (Jonathan), Lelia Petsch, John Petsch, Al Petsch, Chad Roeder (Beth) and Andrew Roeder (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Kaylan Fields, Laurel Fields, Charlotte Fields, Silas Fields, Caleb Fields, Evelyn Hudson, Steele Holcombe, Grant Flocke, Elijah Flocke, Ian Flocke, Isaac Flocke, Isaiah Flocke, Anna Flocke, Abigail Flocke, Kaylee Petsch, Esther Roeder, Kaylee Roeder, Peyton Talley and Blake Talley.
