It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Bell Smithson of Herndon, Kentucky, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his daughter Gwendolyn Smithson; and his brothers, Larry and John Smithson. He is survived by : his wife Margaret Ann Smithson; his daughters, Dolores Smithson of Palm Bay, FL and Stephanie Blondin (Phillip) of Owensboro, KY; and his sister Yvonne Smithson of Overland Park, KA. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
