He was predeceased by : his father Wesley Higgerson; his brother John Higgerson; and his granddaughter Brittany Higgerson. He is survived by : his wife Cherry Higgerson; his sons, Joey (Jamie Higgerson) of New Madrid and Thomas O. Higgerson of New Madrid; his stepchildren, John Mudd and Jennifer Burkeen; and his sister Mary Jane (Dan Fieser). He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
