We bid farewell to Hazel Porter of Hickman, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Hazel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Vernon Maynard and Lovinia Rothman Maynard; and her siblings, Kenneth Allen Porter, Jesse Maynard, Vernon Maynard and Kencie Davis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammie Buchanan (Roger Forgey) of Hickman, KY and Wanda Haney (Chris) of Hickman, KY; her stepson Raymond Allen Porter Jr.; her grandchildren, Kayla Marie Buchanan of Kenton, TN, Amber LaShay Buchanan of Hickman, KY, Preston Lyle Buchanan of Hickman, KY, Nathan Kyle Buchanan of Marquand, MO, Brittany Dawn Yates of Hickman, KY and Charliegh Elizabeth Rose Yates of Fulton, KY; and her siblings, Rebecca Pierce of Paducah, KY, Betty Ramsey of Sandusky, OH and Kenny Maynard of Mayfield, KY.. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Hickman City Cemetery.
