He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Garrigus and Lucy Morrell Garrigus; his wife Marilyn Garrigus (Wilmath); his son Tim Garrigus; his grandchildren, Haley Newcomb Dixon and Casey Garrigus; and his siblings, Ludean Garrigus and Ernie Garrigus.

He is survived by : his sons, Gannon Garrigus, Jim Newcomb and Kevin Newcomb; and his brother Clifton Garrigus. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
