He was predeceased by: his mother Wanda Sue Draffen Thompson; and his brother Bill Thompson. He is survived by: his daughter Jennifer Snodgrass (Tim) of Paducah, KY; his father Bill Thompson of Hickory, KY; his siblings, Mark E. Thompson (Alicia) of Hickory, KY, Jimmy Thompson (Jan) of Hattiesburg, MS and Sandy Mittendorf (Larry) of Gilbertsville, KY; and his granddaughter Whitney Yocum (John).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Byrn Funeral Home (1020 Paris Rd, Mayfield, KY 42066). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
