He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Williams and Rosa Carmichael Williams; and his siblings, Charles Lee Williams, Nina Finch and Lola Vice.

He is survived by: his wife Linda McKee Williams; his siblings, Jimmy Williams (Nancy Jo), Bobbie Chaney (David), Ruth Vice and Carol Stephens; and his brother-in-law Scott McKee (Jill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
