With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel Evelyn Watkins of Himyar, Kentucky, who passed away on May 5, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Turner and Laura Turner (Clouse); her husband Joe Watkins; and her siblings, Edward Turner, Estill Turner, Clarence Turner, Jr., Wilma Miracle, Mildred Massengill and Marlene Vogel.
She is survived by: her children, Howard Watkins of London, Joe Lynn Watkins (Judy) of Himyar, Dianna Hammons of Floyd's Knob and Neil Watkins (Gina) of Artemus; her brothers, Lowell Turner (Roberta) of Pineville and Carl Turner (Dorothy) of Pineville; and her grandchildren, Howard Watkins, Jr., Lisa Smith, Darren Watkins, Jamie Scott, John Hammons II, Joseph Hammons and Joshua Watkins. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends.
