She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Cooper and Mary Bingham Cooper; her husband Russell Hibbard; and her siblings, Ida Mae Baker and Boyd Cooper Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Messer (Pat) of Walker and Veronica Slusher of Flat Lick; her siblings, Anna Lois Baker of Barbourville, Sarah Jane Messer of Barbourville and Robert Cooper (Susan) of Bimble; her grandchildren, Natasha Taylor (Bill) of Middlesboro and Matthew Messer (Reanna) of Walker; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Lacey, Gracie, Atreus "Trey", Colson, Kaiden and Maddie Lee.
