He was predeceased by : his parents, Doyle Ritchie and Denzila Ritchie Eldridge; his grandparents, Carl and Marie Ritchie; and his in-laws, Carlos and Juanita Ashley.

He is survived by : his wife Karen Ashley Ritchie; his son Jessie Scott Ritchie; and his sister Patricia Ritchie.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, May 25th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel (125 Parks Rd, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
