It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Messer of Hinkle, Kentucky, who passed away on October 26, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Ellis Messer and Nancy Messer; his former life partner Leona Smith Messer; his stepson Billy Smith; and his siblings, Crit Messer, Creed Messer, Bobby Messer, Tip Messer, Joycelene Farris, Linda Mills, Mittie Alice Messer and Love Messer.
He is survived by : his wife Irma Jewell Messer (Jordan); his stepchildren, David Smith (Kim) of Ohio, Sharon Saylor (Granville) of Ohio, Joyce Lamb (Vincent) of Ohio, James Smith (Emmy) of Ohio and Derry Smith (Ginger) of Ohio; and his siblings, Ona Mae Taylor of Barbourville, Alvin Messer (Lois) of Gridler and Larry Messer (Marsha) of Barbourville. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
