He was predeceased by: his wife Neicey Devers; his parents, Daniel Devers and Levada Thompson Devers; his siblings, Nathan, Larry Devers and Pamela Hennessy; and his siblings-in-law, Allen O'Daniel and Betty Lou Devers.

He is survived by: his children, Tonya Devers Hawkins (Stephen), Kelly Devers Drake (Gary) and Ben Devers (Stephanie Spalding); his siblings, Danny Dale Devers, Surena O'Daniel and Marcella Price (Barry); his grandchildren, Taylor Aubrey, Emma-Grace Puckett (Tyler), Erynn Reynolds Henry, Tanner Reynolds, Jacob Thomas Gilpin, Addie Resse Devers and Ella Paige Devers; and his great grandchildren, Killian Arthur Henry and Scottie Grace Puckett.
