She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard "Speedy" Akermon; her parents, Gilbert Hartford and Dora Elizabeth Blevins Raikes; and her brother Larry Raikes. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Akermon Haselwood (Steve), Shellie Akermon Thompson (Todd) and Leonard "Lyn" Akermon, Jr. (Angela); her grandchildren, Alana Haselwood, Ali Loyall (Toby), Jackson Thompson, Morgan Roller (Kendall), Alison Akermon, Alyssa Akermon and Ethan Kirkpartick (Callie); and her great grandchildren, Tucker Loyall, Lacey Loyall and Dallas Kirkpatrick.
