He is survived by: his son Cory Gilpin (Margaret) of Elizabethtown; his grandchildren, Andrew Gilpin, Chloe Gilpin and Courtney Lynn Collier; his close friend Brenda Dunn; his sisters, Delores Vaughn (Michael) of Louisville, Carol Crim of Cecilia and Kathy Brooks of Buffalo; his nieces and nephews, Whitney Brooks Smith (Brandon), Stephanie Meredith (Colin), Julie Ann Skaggs Percefull (Troy), Nick Brooks (Diedre) and Chris Smith; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Braden Brooks, Braxton Brooks, Brilee Brooks, Maclaine Smith, Landry Smith, Sunnie Mae Smith, Jenna Carol Harris (J. D.) and Dalton Casey.
