We announce the death of Ruthie Harwood of Holland, Kentucky, who passed away on August 4, 2026, at the age of 83. Ruthie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cordell Stinson and Mervin Clois Stinson Stinson; and her granddaughter Hadley Harwood. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Harwood of Holland, KY; her children, Keith Harwood (Kim) of Edmonton, KY, Kerry Harwood (Lori) of Scottsville, KY and Kellie Chaffin (Elton) of Scottsville, KY; her sisters, Georgia Nowlin of Scottsville, KY and Barbara Gregory of Hendersonville, TN; her grandchildren, Derrick Harwood (Rachel), Jamie Harwood, Kyle Harwood (Shelby), Kassey Parrish (Seth), Payton Hayes (Bradley) and Travis Adams (Emily); and her great grandchildren, Nolan, Murrell, Maggie, Macy, Jack and Eli. She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.
