She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Thomas Atwood and Gertrude Annette Barrick Atwood; and her stepmother Camille Miles McCorkle Atwood. She is survived by: her husband David Smith; her sons, Aaron Smith (Jennifer) of Bowling Green, KY, Adam Smith (Rachel) of Hopkinsville, KY and Alex Smith (Bri) of Hopkinsville, KY; her brother Don Atwood (Beverly) of Hopkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Lillian Smith, Audrey Smith, Adleigh Smith, Miles Smith and Anna Smith.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Second Baptist Church (720 W 7th St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund.
