We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2026, at the age of 62, Gregory Lee Gilliland of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gregory farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gregory is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Gilliland and Barbara Ann Knight Woody; and his stepbrother Robert Woody. He is survived by: his sister Teresa Gilliland Pridmore (Edward) of O'Fallon, IL; his stepparents, Raymond Woody of Florida and Peggy Gilliland of Hopkinsville; and his stepsiblings, Allan Woody of Florida and Angela Potter (Jon) of Maine. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of the giver's choice.
