He was predeceased by: his parents, William Isaac Waldrop and Addie Mae Haley Waldrop; and his siblings, Wayne Waldrop, Jeanette Waldrop and Sandra Waldrop Guida.
He is survived by: his wife Belinda Waldrop of Hopkinsville; his daughter Jill Waldrop Dixon (Ryan) of Hopkinsville; his grandchildren, Colton Waldrop (Peyton), Kadie Raye Berry (John David), Clayton Dixon, Preslee Grace Waldrop, Kate Bailey Waldrop and David Jude Berry; his siblings, Billy Waldrop (Carol) of Hopkinsville, Jerry Waldrop (Sarah) of Hopkinsville, Eugene Waldrop of Hopkinsville, Don Waldrop (Penny) of Benton, Judy Waldrop Cartwright of Hopkinsville and Elaine Waldrop Beaulieu (Joe) of Hopkinsville; and his sister-in-law Janice Waldrop of Hopkinsville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Sinking Fork Baptist Church (5800 Princeton Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 7th 2026 at the Green Hill Memorial Gardens (5325 Cadiz Rd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of his granddaughter, Kadie Raye Berry.
