We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2025, at the age of 63, Keith V. Smith of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Keith farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Keith is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, David Smith and Florence Ella DeShields Smith; and his brother Marvin R. DeShields. He is survived by: his son Torrell Smith of Georgia; his siblings, Marva Taylor (Michael) of Springfield, Yvonne Smith (Sheldon) of Gaston, Karen V. Smith of Pennsylvania, Eric Smith (Juanita) and Lamont Smith (Charlene) of Pennsylvania; and his close friend Nancy Young of Columbia. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
