He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Tribue Hightower and Bessie Pulley Hightower; his wife Judy Garland Hightower; his siblings, Elvis Hightower, Dennis Hightower, Rayburn Hightower, Helen Poe and Elizabeth Case; and his granddaughter Katelynn Norabell Hightower.
He is survived by: his children, Tonya Hightower Fleming (Jason) of Crofton, KY and Danny Hightower (Kelly) of Crofton, KY; his siblings, Larry Hightower (Linda) of Cadiz, KY, Charles Hightower (Bunnie) of Kelly, KY, Richard Hightower of Kelly, KY, Jerry Hightower of Kelly, KY, Wanda Hook (Lawson) of Hopkinsville, KY, Reta Manire (Novie) of Crofton, KY and Geraline Petrin (Wesley) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Taylor Hightower, Victoria Hightower (Brandon), Owen Fleming, Abbigail Hightower, Magen Fleming and Logan Hightower; and his great grandchildren, Bentley Deason and Nevaeh Deason.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home (2504 S Virginia St, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Rock Steady Boxing Program at the Hopkinsville YMCA.
