He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan J. Kazee and Nancy Clay Kazee; and his son Mark A. Kazee. He is survived by: his wife Janis L. Kazee; his son Steven Wayne "Troy" Kazee, Jr. (Jennifer); his stepson Mike A. Newsom, Jr. (Lana); his siblings, Robin A. French of Henderson, KY and Duane H. Kazee of Fairview, TN; his grandchildren, Kyle, Devin and Liam; his great grandchildren, Carter, Callie, Ciaya, Alannah and Archie; his friends, Curtis Sherbondy II and Laura; his niece Dakota Quarles (Trell); and his great-nieces, Abitha and KaMillah. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
