She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmie Vance and Betty Wright Straley; and her son Wesley Snyder. She is survived by: her husband Bill Gibson; her daughters, Lona Jackson (Clint) of Muncie, IN, Rhonda Walker (Robert) of Muncie, IN and Terry Holows (Steven) of South Carolina; and her siblings, Melba Beaver, Ronnie Vance and Alice Imel (Gregory). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren.
Her deep compassion for animals touched many lives, as she not only cared for animals personally but also made generous contributions to local animal shelters.
