She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawton Phillips and Vashti Forbis Phillips; her husband Mitchell Handy; and her sister Jeanetta Atwell. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Handy (Darla), Anissa Meredith (Chris Isaacs) and Amy Lindsey (Edwin); her grandchildren, Justin Handy (Jenny), Jon Handy, Ben Lindsey and Jessica Higginbotham (Cody); her sister Marion Knight (Charles); and her brothers-in-law, Bobby Atwell and Keith Buckeye Handy (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at the Whickerville Cemetery.
