It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corene Richardson of Horse Cave, Kentucky, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Corene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin "Fred" Richardson; her son Samuel Bush; her granddaughter Sarah Spencer; and her parents, Georgie Pearson and Lorene Saddler Pearson.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Bush (Laura), Theresa Spencer (Darrell), Doug Bush (Brenda) and Walter Bush; and her siblings, Frank Simpson and June Henson. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Winn Funeral Home (210 Maple Ave, Horse Cave, KY 42749). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
