He was predeceased by : his parents, William Lester Ping and Helen Delorse Carpenter; and his brother Danny Lester Ping. He is survived by : his wife Janice Bryant; his children, Adam Ping (Julie), Gwen Heath (Duane), Timothy Bryant and Ricky Bryant (Valerie); his stepfather Caleb Groce; and his siblings, Debbie Lively, Linda Bush, Lisa Sexton (Larry) and Caleb Groce III (Cherie). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
