He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Edmond Waters, Jr. and Juanita Garrett Waters; and his sister Vicki Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Becky Harlow Waters; his children, Brian Melloan (Becca) of Auburn, KY and Brooke Waters; and his grandchildren, Garrett, Hudson and Videl.
