She was predeceased by : her husband Elmo Green; her parents, Talmadge Patton and Bessie Lafferty Patton; and her siblings, Russell, Garland, Charles, Paul, William "Bill" Patton, Ruth Slone, Nova Wallen and Faye Caudill.

She is survived by : her children, Steve Green (Jane) of Hueysville, KY and Myra Green Handshoe (Freddy) of Leburn, KY; her siblings, Ralph Patton of Langley, KY and Anna Mae Gearheart of Shelby, OH; her grandchildren, Justin L. Handshoe (Jennifer), Tyler Green (Emily) and Megan Handshoe Kinsolving (Lucien); and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Lilly Kate and Evelyn Kinsolving.
