He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Vanderpool and Vonda Vanderpool. He is survived by: his wife Tina Howard Vanderpool; his children, Robert Dale Vanderpoll II of Paintsville, Kentucky, Jessica Handshoe of Nancy, Bobbie Marie Vanderpool of Hueysville, Kentucky and Keisha Nicole Vanderpool of Hueysville, Kentucky; and his siblings, Steve Vanderpool of Rigg, Marty Vanderpool of Hueysville, Kentucky, Mallie Harmon of Hueysville and Lisa Vanderpool Watkins of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky. He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
