He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Brown (Chris) of Liberty; his sister Judy Smithers of Independence; his grandchildren, Mya Matney (Hunter) of Junction City, McKenzie Horton (Chad) of Liberty, Dakota Smithers (Hannah) of Liberty, Briley Smithers of Liberty and Shelby Smithers of Liberty; his great grandchildren, Raquel, Oakley, Karson, Karlie, Brooks, Carter and Kaden; his daughter-in-law Nikki Smithers; his close friend Sandy Brown of Liberty; his stepchildren, Sarah Brown of Liberty and Bradley Brown; his stepgrandchildren, Kamryn and Kara Davis; and his niece Deborah Kimery (David).
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ag Center.
