He is survived by: his children, Cristal Wardrip (Donald Skaggs), Candace Shoaf (Jesse McFarland) of Liberty, Hanley Garrett (Carol Ann Browning) of Taylorsville and Glen Garrett (Lynn) of St. Francisville, Louisiana.; his siblings, Ina Jean Cochran Buck of Beech Grove, George "Dub" Cochran of Liberty and Larry Cochran (Charlotte) of Liberty; his caregiver Jeanette Wesley of Liberty; his grandchildren, Joshua Peyton (Brandie), Jimmy Wardrip of Neenah, WI and Alissa Wardrip of Hancock, WI.; and his great grandchildren, Emmilyn, Veronica and Adalyn.
