She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Moeller and Charlotte Moeller (Remus); her husband Robert Hess; and her children, James Robert Hess and Laurie Ann Hess Dahir.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Preston (Greg); her grandchildren, Cassie Lyn Marvin, Adam Christopher Marvin and Logan Christopher Dahir; and her great grandchildren, Malakai Asher Marvin and Finnegan Arlo Marvin.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
