He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel McFarland and Mary Barlow McFarland; his grandson Jordan Edwards; and his great grandchild Sullivan Ronny Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Alta Choate McFarland; his children, Stephen McFarland (Betty) of Indiana, Mark McFarland (Marla) of Indiana, Sandra Oaks (Dennis) of Moreland and Sharon Edwards (Darrell) of McKinney; and his grandchildren, Crystal Christopher (John), Heather Geilker (Cory), Amanda Burkett (Troy), Jeremy Edwards, Jared Edwards (Linda), Judah Edwards (Jamie), Joshua Edwards (Chelsea), Jaleeta Edwards and Tammy Meyers (Justin). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Noon. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
