He is survived by: his children, Melissa Caye Schlafer (Nick) of Taylorsville and Maynard Joseph Wesley Brown (Heather); his siblings, Johnny Mack Brown of Geneva, Ivan Brown (Betty) of Geneva, Eddie "Popcorn" Brown (Lynette) of Geneva, Edna Griffin of Geneva and Peggy Griffin of Geneva; and his grandchildren, Lincoln, Mya, Izzy Schlafer, Grayden, Bralynn Brown, Holden and Eliana Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Green River Pentecostal Church (7337 KY-698, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the New Salem Baptist Church (10680 KY-698, Hustonville, KY 40437).
