He is survived by: his wife Brenda Higgins Ellis; his son Brent Ellis (Darra Roy); his grandchildren, Lucian Roy Ellis of Moreland, Ciera Shedrick of Arizona, Logan Hatter (Krista) of Salvisa and Taylor Hatter of Casey County; his sister-in-law Brenda Roberts Ellis of Moreland; his nephew Brad Ellis (Melissa) of Danville; his niece Jeannie Gayle Hurst (David) of Garrard County; his great-niece Eliza Asmus (Josh); and his great-nephews, Hagen, Hunter Ellis and Caleb Hurst (Abigail).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437).
