He was predeceased by: his parents, Asa Evans and Ida Evans of Casey County. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Evans; his children, Mark Evans (Shelley) and Pam Goins (Marty); his granddaughters, Victoria Lee (Levi), Abigail Blondell and Katie Fleming (Kirk); his great grandchildren, Emmitt, Jasper, Corbin, Tatum, James and Nora; and his siblings, Dollie Lucas, Betty Downey and Buford Evans (Mary).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home (5590 Hwy 2141, Hustonville, KY 40437). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hustonville Baptist Church food bank (9959 KY HWY 78, Hustonville 40437) or Galilean Home Ministries (712 South Fork Church Rd., Liberty 42539).
