It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arvella D. Lewis of Hyden, Kentucky, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents-in-law, Cleon and Rosie Lewis; and her siblings-in-law, Charles Calvert, Phyllis Smith and Sophia "Sophie" Combs.

She is survived by : her husband Johnny Lewis of Thousandsticks, KY; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Lewis of Hyden, KY, Michael Lewis (Randi) of Dayton, OH., Angela Purvis (Kenneth) of Thousandsticks, KY and Chris Calvert of Hoskinston, KY..
