We bid farewell to Audrey Mae Smith Morgan in Hyden, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 9, 2026 at the age of 89. Audrey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Smith and Mattie Sizemore Smith; her husband John L. Morgan; her son-in-law Duane Tinnel; and her siblings, Raymond Smith, Emma Morgan, Chloe Howard, Lizzie Morgan, Cleopus Smith, David Smith, Troy Smith, Winford Smith and Roy Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Armilda Hoskins (Jerry) and Rhonda Tinnel; her sister Eva Jean Hoggard; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wilson (Jeff), Shane Tinnel (Sabrina) and Seth Tinnel (Kim); her great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jacob, Jennah Skye, Ethan, Isaiah and Faith; and her sisters-in-law, Imogene Morgan and Mary Angela Morgan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Stinnett Church of Christ. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 13th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
