He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Jim Roberts and Oakie Smith Roberts; his wife Lucille Morgan Roberts; and his daughters, Debbie Rose Roberts Hoskins, Jean and Judy Ann.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rev. Eugene "Friday" Roberts (Barbara), James Quentin Roberts (Wilma), Anna Lee Roberts Hoskins and Margie Roberts Vaughn; his sisters-in-law, Belvia Roberts, Judy Roberts, Imogene Morgan, Phyllis Morgan, Audrey Morgan and Angela Morgan; his grandchildren, John David Hoskins (Megan), Matthew B. Hoskins (Rhae) and Jessica Rice (Justin); his great grandchildren, Cameron, Haleigh, Harper, Alexander Logan, Lucas, Arya and Allie; his caregiver Alyvia; his son-in-law Norman Ray Hoskins; and his siblings, Pauline, Imogene, Loretta, Carl and Bobby.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home (155 Hickory St, Hyden, KY 41749). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Stinnett Gap Church of God (16031 US-421, Stinnett, KY 40868).
