He is survived by: his mother Louise Asher Sandlin; his wife Lenora Jones Sandlin of Hyden, KY; his children, Darrell Sandlin of Hyden, KY and Kaitlyn Whitaker (Shelby) of Hazard, KY; his siblings, Charles Sandlin of Hyden, KY and Eleanor Robinson (Dallas) of Manchester, KY; and his close friend Clifton Morgan. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews.
