With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Pemberton of Independence, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Goodin and Evelyn Goodin; and her stepfather Jesse C. McHargue. She is survived by: her daughters, Tanya Pemberton and Michele Wilbers (Scott); her sister Phyllis Eddy; her grandchildren, Aaron and Amelia Wilbers; and her sibling's children, Desirea Rhodes and William Glenn Eddy.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Swindler & Currin Funeral Homes-Independence (5245 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051).
